DataMatrix and automation questions

Direct answers about implementation, integration and daily work

General Questions

DataSync is a Business Process Integration & Automation Partner. We connect production, DataMatrix, warehouse, ERP, sales, delivery and reporting workflows so teams do not have to reconcile the same operation by hand.

  • iconDataSync offers solutions for DataMatrix code generation, aggregation, code circulation management, reporting, as well as various software and related services.

Our solutions are designed for businesses that want to automate processes, reduce the amount of manual work, and ensure greater accuracy and control. We work with manufacturing, importing, and distribution companies across various industries.

Our solutions help speed up processes, reduce the likelihood of errors, ensure transparent data flow, and increase overall operational efficiency. The system makes it possible to automate such important stages as code receipt, aggregation, circulation, accounting, delivery, and reporting.

DataMatrix is a two-dimensional code used for product identification, traceability, and control. It allows unique data to be stored and transmitted for each product unit, ensuring more accurate accounting and control.

DataMatrix supports item-level traceability and accurate circulation records. It matters when a business must know which exact unit was produced, packed, moved, sold, returned or written off.

If you have any questions, you can contact us using the phone number listed on the website, via Telegram, or through other contact methods presented on the site. Our team will help you navigate and find the right solution.

From 1 January 2026 the list has been extended: medicines, vitamins, perfumery, cosmetics and hygiene products were added. Marking had already become mandatory for beverages, beer, dairy and meat products, petroleum products and paints, as well as tobacco, alcohol, packaged water, phones and laptops. Check the exact list on the e-Mark operator site, or contact us for a free consultation.

You need to sign a contract with the national e-Mark operator, register in the system, and set up the code ordering and circulation processes. DataSync helps with the paperwork, the API integration and automating the whole process in a matter of days.

DataSync pricing starts at 20,000 AMD per month with no hidden fees: Basic — 20,000֏, Production — 35,000֏, Enterprise — on request. Annual payment carries a 15% discount. See the Pricing page for details.

It is a product classification code used in foreign economic activity, import documentation, customs workflows, and product data preparation.

Search by the first digits of the code or by the main product word on the DataSync ATGAA code search page. If several descriptions may fit, verify the final choice against the official classifier or a specialist.

Digital marking requires clean product master data. A classifier code helps group the product correctly, while DataSync connects that data with DataMatrix generation, aggregation, movement, and reporting.

No. DataSync helps with data structure, automation, and process control. Final customs or legal classification should be confirmed through an official source or qualified expert.

Software

Aggregation is the process of combining individual product units into grouped packages. The system maintains the connection between each DataMatrix code and the corresponding grouped package, ensuring complete control and traceability.

Code circulation management means controlling the movement of codes from production to sale. This includes putting a product into circulation, removing it from circulation, scrapping it if necessary, and continuously monitoring the data at every stage.

We offer invoice and waybill management, delivery management, sales monitoring, production line automation, as well as other systems that help unify data and improve business efficiency.

Yes. DataSync maps the current workflow, systems and ownership rules, then configures the integration around those constraints rather than replacing every system.

DataSync supports Android and iOS workflows for smartphones and compatible data terminals. Available actions depend on the configured process and user permissions.

Technical

API credentials authorize an internal system to exchange marking data with e-Mark. Obtain them through the current official process, store them securely and restrict access to the integration owner.

  • iconFor this, it is necessary to fill out the corresponding application, provide your company details, and send it to the email address the current official submission address provided by e-Mark. A correctly and fully completed application helps speed up the process of receiving access credentials.
  • iconUsing the relevant link provided on the website, you can download the document template, fill in the required fields, and send it to the current official submission address provided by e-Mark.
  • iconIf you have already received the API username and password, the next step is to apply them in your system. You can pass the credentials to your technical specialist or contact our team so that we can help configure the integration correctly and start working with the e-Mark system.
  • iconTo add a new user, it is necessary to download the relevant application template, fill in the required information, and send it to the same email address: the current official submission address provided by e-Mark.

Yes. Code requests, receipt, application, circulation events and reporting can be automated when product data and event rules are defined.

  • iconThe processes of putting codes into circulation, removing them from circulation, or scrapping them can also be automated by connecting them with your internal operational systems.

Yes. DataSync can connect ERP, accounting, warehouse, online-store and other operational systems through their available APIs or approved data interfaces.

Yes. Custom work is appropriate when the standard flow does not match the company's documents, packaging hierarchy, equipment or approval rules.

Applications

Configured mobile workflows can cover scanning, aggregation, circulation, receiving, delivery, inventory, verification and reporting. Users see only the actions required for their role.

The Circulation section records events that change a product code's status, such as introduction, removal or write-off. The available actions follow the configured workflow.

The "Supplier" section is intended for scanning electronic documents received from suppliers and linking the corresponding products' DataMatrix codes. This helps speed up the process of receiving incoming goods and reduce the amount of manual work.

Yes. The Orders section can request DataMatrix codes by product and retain the order history when e-Mark access is configured.

The "Verification" section allows you to check the status, accuracy, and compliance of DataMatrix codes. This helps identify issues quickly and ensure more reliable processes.

Our solutions make it possible to monitor product balances, movements, and warehouse activity in real time. This reduces the likelihood of losses and discrepancies and ensures more accurate accounting.
